Overview

The WVU School of Medicine and the WVU Heart & Vascular Institute seek non-invasive cardiologists (ranks: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor) for faculty positions in Parkersburg, WV. Depending on operational needs, a successful candidate may be assigned to additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Virginia. Travel would be anticipated to fulfill duties at these sites. Responsibilities

Provide non-invasive cardiology services as part of the WVU Heart & Vascular Institute. Teach medical students, internal medicine residents, and cardiology fellows. Participate in clinical research opportunities. Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, and other specialists to deliver comprehensive heart and vascular care. Qualifications

MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent; eligible for state medical license. Board certified in internal medicine and board certified or eligible in cardiovascular disease. Additional certification or intent to certify in imaging modalities such as echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT and/or MRI. All qualifications must be met by time of appointment.
