Responsibilities
Provides routine patient care services to our patients under the direction of a professional nurse. Duties include assisting patients in daily living activities, taking and recording vital signs, facilitating psycho‑educational group sessions and utilizing crisis intervention techniques as necessary.
Assists patients with daily living activities (1‑to‑1 Supervision, Laundry, Bathing, and Toileting).
Conducts patient search at admission, upon return from pass, or as clinically indicated under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
Functions as a role model of healthy interpersonal relationships and demonstrates appropriate behavior for patients, family, and staff.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in behavioral health or other related healthcare field (Note, this applies to team members hired after July 7, 2024).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Enrollment in a nursing or social work degree program.
Licenses And Certifications Required
AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 90 days of entering position.
Compensation
Minimum rate of $24.14 Hourly. The posted rate of pay in this job posting is a reasonable good faith estimate of the minimum base pay for this role at the time of posting in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act and does not reflect the full value of our market‑competitive total rewards package.
