Pediatric Radiology | Predictable Days, Equitable Call | Resident Teaching + Cohesive Team Join a cohesive pediatric radiology team at Children’s Hospital of Michigan, part of DMC Medical Group. You will read exclusively pediatric studies, teach every day, and help grow an academic service that values quality, education, and collaboration. You will be at the forefront of providing world‑class imaging services to children. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of pediatric specialists, contributing to the care of a diverse pediatric patient population.

Scale and variety with about 90,000 pediatric exams yearly across the main campus and satellites

80 percent on site with the ability to arrange periodic at‑home reading; home PACS provided

Sign‑on bonus options that reward commitment

Schedule and call

Weekdays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., typically 2 to 3 pediatric radiologists on site

Equitable 1:6 call, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays

During call week and weekends, residents and fellows are in house and cover night call, with attendings available if needed

Must live within about one hour for occasional fluoroscopy needs

Clinical scope

Pediatric only. No adult reads

Full spectrum imaging including radiographs, ultrasound, CT, MR, nuclear medicine, and fluoroscopy

Primary site is Children’s Hospital of Michigan; low‑volume reads for children age 5 and under at other DMC hospitals

Teaching and academic engagement

ACGME‑accredited Pediatric Radiology fellowship at CHM

You will teach pediatric radiology fellows, radiology residents, and medical students from programs across Southeast Michigan

Academic appointments are available with Wayne State University, Central Michigan University, and Michigan State University

Current PACS is Change with PowerScribe dictation

Transition to Sectra PACS planned for March 2026

Multiple magnets on campus, Dual Source 256 Slice CT with FLASH technology, nuclear medicine, new fluoroscopy and X rooms slated for 2026

Dedicated Child Life support and experienced technologists

Qualifications

BE/BC in Diagnostic Radiology with accredited Pediatric Radiology fellowship

Must

have body imaging experience

CAQ in Pediatric Radiology or eligibility in Pediatric Radiology

Interest in teaching and thriving in an academic environment

Fetal imaging experience welcome but not required

Open to new graduates and experienced pediatric radiologists
