Radiology Technologist Opportunity
Hourly Wage Estimate : $26.52 - $40.90 / hour. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates. The position is Tuesday - Friday 0730-1800. We are looking for an enthusiastic Radiology Technologist to help us reach our goals. Our Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging Department provides a broad range of services to aid in the screening, diagnosis, and treatment of medical conditions and emergent injuries. A few responsibilities of our Radiology Technologist include operating x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body, performing x-ray therapy on patients, explaining procedures to patients, and addressing their concerns. You will serve patients in our emergency department, hospital, and outpatient services. You will perform procedures in accordance with established protocols for patients ages neonate through geriatric. You will maintain expert technical and patient-care skills and provide quality diagnostic results. Qualifications you will need include completion of an AMA approved Radiology Technology training program with current certification by ARRT, BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting of patients and / or equipment up to 50 lbs. Prefer 2 years recent acute care experience. Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
