Our client, a leader in the manufacturing and research industry, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the Quality Control and Research & Development departments supporting innovative product testing and development initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem‑solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: Maplewood, MN – 100% onsite

Pay Range: $18 to $22

Duration: 12‑month contract

What’s the Job?

Perform chemical, physical, and mechanical analyses and tests for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.

Assist with compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and documenting test results accurately.

Follow established procedures and methods to ensure consistency and reliability of testing outcomes.

Manage product testing projects, including scheduling and data management, to support ongoing development efforts.

Work in a laboratory environment testing abrasive finishing of fiber optic connectors, with training provided.

What’s Needed?

Ability to follow detailed procedures and work independently to complete assigned tasks.

Good mechanical aptitude and skills; experience in inspection procedures or related product lines preferred.

Experience working in a laboratory or technical environment is advantageous.

Computer literacy with strong communication and time‑management skills.

Desire to contribute to innovative testing environments and support new product development.
