Examine and counsel patients. Order tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient’s condition. Analyze findings of tests and of examination and diagnose condition. Participate in emergency preparedness and response activities. Marginal Functions
Perform other duties as required or assigned. Requirements
Requires certification by the Missouri State Board of Registration. Requires National Board Certification for the medical specialty. Selection and Appointment
A selection committee will evaluate the qualifications of each applicant. Applicants will be admitted to interview only if they possess the most job‑related qualifications and may be required to score 70 or higher on the interview. Ten candidates will be interviewed; the five top‑ranking candidates based on the final grade will be certified to the Department Director/Appointing Authority for final appointment. Candidates are required to submit a Conviction Questionnaire within 3 days of interview and will undergo drug screening via urinalysis prior to appointment. The cost of screening will be covered by the County. COVID‑19 Vaccination Policy
All newly hired employees must provide proof of COVID‑19 vaccination prior to starting service. Full vaccination means having received an FDA Emergency Use Authorization approved vaccine or vaccine series. Applicants with a CMS clinical contraindication to the vaccine may request an exemption or reasonable accommodation. Employees granted exemption for medical or religious reasons will be required to wear facial coverings and submit to weekly COVID‑19 testing. How to Apply
