Sun/Mon/Tue: 6:45 AM–4:30 PM or 1:30 PM–11:30 PM

Thur/Fri/Sat: 6:45 AM–4:30 PM or 1:30 PM–11:30 PM

Rotating Wednesdays

At Sunrise, we are dedicated to creating a secure and encouraging environment that supports real‑life change for our students. Our team works tirelessly to uncover the academic, social, and emotional potential of students held back by emotional and behavioral struggles. We incorporate Relational DBT into every aspect of our program, ensuring that our therapists and staff are trained to help students practice these skills continually.

Responsibilities

Guide students through daily routines while modeling positive behavior and healthy habits.

Work closely with therapists to implement individualized interventions and support treatment goals.

Maintain thorough documentation and relay key updates to the treatment team.

Proactively ensure client safety through prevention, de‑escalation, and supportive intervention.

Participate in group sessions, staff bonding, and house activities to foster connection and trust.

Contribute to light housekeeping and meal prep, promoting a clean, nurturing space.

Build rapport while upholding boundaries, creating a safe and respectful environment.

Qualifications

Must be 21+ with a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record.

Pass a Utah State background check and obtain a Food Handler’s Permit before starting.

Trained or willing to be trained in CPR, First Aid, and safe restraint techniques.

Confident in managing and calming agitated or combative students.

Strong communication skills and the ability to form healthy, supportive connections.

Committed to teaching and modeling strong values and respectful behavior.

Willing to commit to a minimum of 8 months in a structured, team‑based environment.
