Position Summary The Bilingual Outpatient Integrated Health Care Clinician will deliver clinical and case management services for children and adults across the lifespan, fostering positive working relationships with co‑workers, clients, and key stakeholders.
Compensation and Benefits Base Salary:
$58,000 annually
Bilingual Stipend:
$4,576
Sign‑On Bonus:
$10,000 available (50% paid at start, 50% paid at 1 year of service)
Loan Repayment:
Eligible for up to $250,000 through the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) for federal qualified health center (FQHC) employees.

Education and Experience / Qualifications Education:
Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work or a related licensed field; or a doctoral degree in Psychology.
Licensure:
Connecticut LMSW, LMFTA, LPCA, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or Psychologist license are required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Works as part of a multidisciplinary team to efficiently and effectively meet the behavioral, primary, and dental health needs of the client, including but not limited to providing behavioral health consultation to the primary care provider, assisting client in meeting medical treatment compliance, and referring client to other Wheeler services and/or other community services as needed.
Conducts program-specific screening and evaluation, formulates diagnosis per DSM, develops individualized treatment plans, demonstrates knowledge of psychopathology and primary modalities of psychotherapy including individual, group, and family therapy, has competence in triaging clinical emergencies, uses evidence-based practice models, provides or refers to group therapy, manages psychotropic medications, completes timely documentation, engages in group facilitation, provides culturally competent care, reflects on cultural dynamics, reports mandated child abuse/neglect, adheres to confidentiality, follows program standards, attends interdisciplinary meetings, achieves productivity targets, and maintains required data collection.
