About the Role We are hiring for one of our prime clients seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support to physicians and healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will assist with patient care, manage appointment scheduling and medical records, and ensure efficient workflow in a patient-centered environment. This role requires a compassionate professional committed to excellence and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Assist providers with patient examinations, procedures, and room preparation.
Schedule appointments, manage medical charts, and update patient information in EPIC.
Prepare instruments and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment.
Protect patient confidentiality and ensure respect, dignity, and quality care.
Serve as a chaperone during medical procedures as needed.
Support administrative and operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
Certification/Registration (CCMA, CMA, AAMA, or RMA) preferred; may substitute for program completion.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a primary care or specialty practice preferred.
Proficiency in EMR systems (EPIC preferred) and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills.
CPR certification and bilingual proficiency preferred but not required.
