Assignment Length:
13‑week travel RN contract
Shifts:
12‑hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 3 shifts per week
Guaranteed Hours:
36 hours per week
Weekend and holiday shifts required
Start Date:
October 28, 2025
End Date:
January 24, 2026
Pay Range:
$47/hr – $61/hr
Estimated Weekly Salary:
$1,690 – $1,740
Requirements
Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license
2–3 years of recent RN experience, including work in an observation or telemetry unit
Proficient in cardiac/telemetry monitoring; able to read and interpret cardiac rhythm strips
BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Strong clinical skills and analytical abilities
Excellent communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
BSN preferred
Responsibilities
Provide high‑quality, compassionate patient care in a high‑turnover observation unit
Monitor and assess patients requiring cardiac/telemetry observation; accurately interpret cardiac rhythms
Utilize the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
Delegate, supervise, and document care and education for patients and families
Communicate critical patient and family information to the healthcare team
Participate in problem‑solving and implement solutions for patient care variances
Maintain a patient ratio of 5:1, collaborating with a team of 7–8 RNs per shift
