Position Summary We are seeking an experienced
CNIM-certified Surgical Neurophysiologist
to join our growing clinical team. This role requires independent intraoperative monitoring across a variety of surgical procedures, including spine, craniotomy, ENT, and vascular cases. Candidates must be confident in managing complex cases and collaborating directly with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and supervising neurologists.
Responsibilities
Independently perform multimodality IONM (SSEP, TcMEP, EMG, BAEP, cranial nerve monitoring, etc.)
Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot monitoring equipment in real time
Identify and communicate significant waveform changes to surgical and anesthesia teams
Document case findings accurately and in compliance with protocols
Collaborate with remote or on-site neurologists for case oversight
Mentor junior technologists as needed and support clinical education initiatives
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of independent IONM experience preferred
Proficiency across multiple modalities including SSEPs, EMG, and MEPs
Strong intraoperative communication and decision-making skills
Ability to adapt quickly to different hospital systems, teams, and workflows
Willingness to work early-morning and occasional after-hours cases
