Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of individuals navigating the criminal justice system? Chestnut Health Systems is seeking a dedicated Problem-Solving Court Clinician to join our team in Bloomington, IL. In this full-time role, you’ll work directly with participants in Drug Court and Recovery Court (mental health court), helping them overcome challenges related to mental health and substance use. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including judges, attorneys, probation officers, jail staff, and law enforcement—to provide compassionate, evidence-based care. Conduct diagnostic and assessment evaluations with clients and their families; write bio-psychosocial reports to address diagnosis and patient placement criteria with guidance and oversight as required. Plan and implement treatment for clients with guidance and oversight as required. Conduct admissions and discharges. Develop Master Treatment Plans (MTP) and determine continuing care plans with guidance and oversight as required. Provide individual, family and group counseling and rehabilitation services to clients and their families (all levels, including advanced or specialized therapy skills). Clinical functions determined by individual training, experience and assigned area(s) of responsibility. Facilitate skills and educational groups as required by the program. Qualifications
Must have a master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related field and must be eligible and obtain CADC certification or licensure within two (2) years of hire date. Must have a valid driver’s license, private automobile insurance and be insurable (when applicable). Requires basic computer skills and experience to include MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and an electronic medical record (EMR). Satisfactory completion of Chestnut's background checking process. Benefits and Additional Information
This full-time position includes an excellent compensation and benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, FSA, DCA and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, generous paid time off benefits, and more. EOE – Minorities/Females/Vets/Disabled The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $44,000 - $50,575 annual salary. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education, experience, local market conditions, and internal equity.
