Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital . This is a part-time position at 20 hours per week located at Lake Forest Hospital. The schedule is 2-10 hour shifts every Saturday and Sunday with holiday and on-call rotation required. Benefits

Ensure all exams are ordered correctly in HIS/RIS, charged and tracked accurately. Position and immobilize patients on the examining table. Enter data such as the anatomical area to be radiographed and select the proper technique. Communicate with patients before, during, and after procedures to obtain history, explain risks, and ensure safety and comfort. View images on the display to assess quality; produce radiographs. Obtain "wet reads" from radiologists. Assist in the reception area and handle related tasks as needed. Burn CDs and produce film copies when requested. Maintain and clean work area and equipment; prioritize urgent exams. Replenish supplies and stock rooms as needed. Qualifications

Required: ARRT, IEMA 2 to 3 years of undergraduate education or equivalent Thorough working knowledge of practices in a specialized field One year or less of related work experience preferred, familiar with routines and procedures Physical Demands:
