Overview
MedVet's Emergency Clinician Mentorship Program (ECMP) is an accelerated training program for new or recent graduates who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and becoming a leading Emergency Clinician. The program provides the knowledge and skills necessary to practice at the highest level in a veterinarian-owned and veterinarian-led organization that emphasizes high-quality specialty healthcare.
Location: Meridian, ID. Meridian is a suburb of Boise offering urban amenities with outdoor recreation opportunities. The program includes mentored training, specialty rotations focused on ER relevance, and long-term career development with leadership opportunities. MedVet doctors have the opportunity to become shareholders.
Responsibilities
Participate in mentored training and specialty rotations with a focus on Emergency Medicine to develop ER clinical expertise.
Engage in the program's curriculum and activities designed to accelerate readiness for ER practice.
Maintain licensure and comply with program requirements as you progress through training.
Qualifications
DVM degree from an AVMA-recognized institution
Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of your program
Employment interview with background check
Two letters of recommendation from clinical faculty members with knowledge of the applicant's clinical abilities and communication skills (new grads)

ECMP is a one-year training program with a one-year ER commitment at your training hospital. It starts with mentored training and specialty rotations to develop ER expertise. In the second year you will be a full ER doctor earning salary plus production pay.
