Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Interventional Radiology Technologist passionate about patient well‑being to operate specialized radiologic equipment to provide imaging for neuro, general, operative, and intervention procedures. Work in a fast‑pace, critical environment alongside Neuro‑Endovascular surgeons, Interventional Radiologists, Fellows, and residents providing life‑saving treatment for stroke and trauma patients. Use cutting‑edge equipment to perform procedures such as stroke treatment, Y90 chemotherapy, embolizations, routine spine and GI procedures. Technologists are responsible for patient safety, radiation safety, supplies, and charging of complicated exams.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain specialized radiologic equipment to provide imaging for interventional procedures.

Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, fellows, and residents to perform procedures such as stroke treatment, Y90 chemotherapy, embolizations, spine and GI interventions.

Ensure patient and radiation safety, manage supplies, and perform charging of exams.

Provide patient safety, radiation safety oversight and handle other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Two (2) years experience in interventional radiology or related experience required.

Primary certification by the ARRT in Radiography and Arizona mrtbe licensure required.

Vascular Interventional (VI) registry preferred.

ARRT Post‑primary Pathway Certification (e.g., Vascular Interventional) preferred.

Completion of approved American College of Radiology radiologic technologist program.

Film quality control and PACS experience preferred.

Location Phoenix, AZ. St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, a 571‑bed, not‑for‑profit hospital founded in 1895.

Pay Range $43.10 – $64.11 per hour.

Seniority & Employment Type Entry level – Full‑time.
