LPN – Emergency Department
Hunterdon Health (HHS Hunterdon Healthcare System Inc.) – 2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ.
Hiring Range: $32.00 hourly, per diem. Days/Evenings & Weekends vary.
Position Summary The LPN works in tandem with the Registered Nurse (RN) to provide ongoing assessments, perform interventions, prepare for procedures, monitor, observe, and report changes or findings to the RN under RN supervision. The LPN functions as a PCA as needed and focuses on evidence‑based practice and patient experience within Shared Governance.
Primary Position Responsibilities
Facilitate patient care with the care team, including activities of daily living.
Maintain patient safety and a clean, safe environment.
Other duties as assigned within nursing scope of practice.
Promote and support an organized work environment.
Qualifications Required Education:
Graduate – LPN program.
Required Experience:
None.
Preferred:
One year acute care experience.
License, Registry or Certification:
Current New Jersey LPN licensure; Current American Heart Association CPR certification; CPI training will be provided.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Normal knowledge of basic patient care equipment, wheelchairs, and stretchers.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Must pass annual clinical competency based program and mandated in‑service education.
