The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Division ensures compliance with environmental laws and aims for a zero-harm safety culture. The EHS team supports project design, reviews contracts, and provides field support. BEDC seeks a City Research Scientist 3 as an Environmental Specialist to provide regulatory guidance, review and update environmental documents, and manage environmental programs. The position is based in Valhalla or Kingston, NY, and may involve training staff on environmental policies. Preferred Skills include: Environmental Engineering/Science Degree CPESC or NYS DEC Certification Knowledge of OSHA, NYSDEC, USEPA, and related regulations Experience with ISO EHS Management Systems Report development and presentation skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Strong communication skills Valid NY State Driver’s License Additional Information:
