Under general supervision, helps Physicians during catheterization and electrophysiology lab procedures. Prepares room and equipment, instructs patients, monitors patient condition, and provides routine and emergency care during procedures. Contributes to the orientation and training of other team members. Supports daily, monthly, and quarterly quality control initiatives through auditing and reporting. Helps in procedure rooms and collects registry and quality data on appropriate forms. Transports patients to and from the procedural area. Orders and maintains inventory of procedure room supplies; ensures rooms are stocked and equipment is not expired. Performs routine calibration and maintenance of complex equipment and notifies appropriate team members for fixes. Assists with arteriograms/catheterizations, pacemaker and implantable cardioverter-defibrillator procedures, diagnostic and interventional studies, and electrophysiology-related activities. Maintains sterile fields for lab procedures and supports patient orientation for catheterization or electrophysiology procedures. Gathers catheterization data and prepares procedure reports; handles imaging and documentation related to procedures. Qualifications

Education/Experience : Education and/or experience requirements must meet one of the following: Associate's degree in a related field, or completion of US military training program and experience equivalent to an Associate's degree, or 2 years of related cardiovascular lab experience. Must be available for On Call response per facility/department policy. Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology; ability to apply complex invasive cardiac and vascular values, instrumentation, and techniques. Certification/Regulatory: ACLS and BLS within 30 days of hire/transfer; one of the following credentials: ARRT-R, MRT, RCIS, RCES, CEPS, or CCDS as applicable per TX Medical Board requirements. On-Call and Schedule

Shift: 7:00am – 5:30PM | Full Time | Day Shift | 4/10’s | On-call after hours and weekends (8–9 days of call with 1 weekend/month). Holiday call: 1 major and 1 minor. Call response time: Within 30 minutes of notification. Case Types

Structural heart cases, vascular cases, left heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary intervention, and electrophysiology studies. 20-30 cases per day. About Us
