CT Technologist – Harbour View Medical Center – PRN
Join the Bon Secours Mercy Health team as a CT Technologist at Harbour View Medical Center. The position supports patient care through diagnostic imaging and is offered on a PRN basis.
Job Summary The CT Technologist provides direct patient care by operating CT scanning equipment, assisting in diagnosis and treatment, and ensuring accurate imaging while maintaining a safe environment.
Essential Functions
Confirm patient and procedural data is correct.
Perform computed tomography procedures and position patients safely on CT scanning cradles.
Produce radiation exposures with appropriate scanner settings.
Administer injectable, oral, rectal, and IV radiographic contrast agents specific to procedures.
Assist the radiologist with biopsies and drainage procedures.
Maintain familiarity with CT IT systems, including Radiant and PACS.
Participate in on‑call rotations and timeout as required.
Education
Associate’s degree from an ARRT accredited institution (preferred).
Licensure & Certification
BLS Basic Life Support – American Heart Association (required; preferred upon hire).
Registration with ARRT (required).
Advanced modality registration in CT, ARRT (preferred, or must be obtained within 2 years).
State licensure (preferred, or as required by local regulations).
Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT or radiology technologist (preferred).
Experience with EPIC Electronic Health Record (preferred).
Experience with Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) (preferred).
