Radiology Technologist
, your responsibilities include: Relaying and documenting verbal, facsimile, electronic, and telephone orders in the patient’s chart, as permitted by policies. Administering general and specific X-rays following prescribed techniques, adjusting equipment, and selecting proper exposure settings. Determining the appropriate technique for ionizing radiation during radiologic exams. Preparing chemical mixtures such as barium for X-rays. Monitoring the patient and equipment during procedures, reporting unusual occurrences, and recording patient conditions. Developing films according to photographic techniques. Cleaning and disinfecting X-ray rooms and equipment. Preparing patients for X-ray procedures, explaining procedures, positioning, and assisting as needed. Qualifications include completion of an ARRT-accredited program, current ARRT registration, CPR certification, and state licensure as required. At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred. Seniority level
