Licensed Clinical Social Worker (FTC South)
The State of Missouri seeks a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for the St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center – South Campus (5300 Arsenal St., St. Louis, MO 63139). The position is a Full Time Contract (FTC) with day shift (Saturday/Sunday off).
Salary Options
Clinical Caseworker: $50,990.50 annual salary
Sr. Clinical Caseworker (MSW): $63,120.05 annual salary
Sr. Clinical Caseworker (LMSW): $65,173.20 annual salary
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW): $78,264.00 annual salary
Responsibilities
Maintain a minimum caseload of approximately 16 cottage-based clients in the Forensic Responsibility Program (FRP).
Provide individual and group therapy/psychoeducation and conduct psychoeducational sessions.
Coordinate community reintegration activities, transfers, discharges, and legal/guardian matters.
Complete case management documentation, including ITRP reviews and Integrated Risk Assessments.
Participate in routine interdisciplinary meetings, client reviews, and treatment planning.
Ensure division-specific documentation and liaison with legal guardians and families as applicable.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Eligibility & Qualifications
Prior experience providing services for individuals with severe and persistent mental health diagnoses, including substance use, personality, and intellectual disorders.
Strong knowledge of the DSM, evidence‑based practices, and social work ethics.
Degree and/or license in Social Work (MSW, LMSW, or LCSW) preferred; minimum qualifications for all levels are acceptable.
Professionally licensed candidates are required to be fully credentialed in Missouri.
Applicants nearing completion of an MSW may qualify as Clinical Caseworkers.
Post‑secondary education is required; lack of such will not be used as a sole basis for denial.
