The Pharmacy Medication Refill Technician 1 position is responsible for the completion of centralized medication refills across the clinics of the Baptist Health South Florida Network. The Technician contributes to the medication refill process by performing necessary data entry and managing prescriptions in any disease state and follow-up as defined in the medication refill workflow and protocols in place. Qualifications
Degrees: High School, Cert, GED, Trn, Exper. Licenses & Certifications: Pharmacist Intern; Registered Pharmacy Technician. Additional Qualifications: Registered pharmacy technician or pharmacy intern license (actively enrolled in pharmacy school); significant customer service experience (ideally in the pharmacy industry); experience in retail pharmacy highly preferred; ability to demonstrate high levels of critical thinking in addition to customer service; knowledge of/proficiency in medical terminology (written & oral); bilingual (English and Spanish) highly preferred; proficient in computer applications and data entry; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Minimum Required Experience: 1 year. Compensation & Benefits
Estimated pay range: $19.44 - $25.27 per hour, depending on experience. Sign-On Bonus: Up to $4,000. EOE, including disability/vets. Employment Details
