Dispensing Pharmacist – CenterWell Pharmacy
CenterWell Pharmacy invites applications for a Dispensing Pharmacist. The role involves accurate, timely dispensing of prescribed medications to patients and requires a registered pharmacist licensed in Florida.
Compensation
Base salary: $94,900.00 – $130,500.00 per year
Sign‑On Bonus: $5,000 (paid in two installments: first upon hire, second within 6 months)
Location & Working Hours
Location: 11010 Florida Crown Dr. Suite 200, Orlando, FL 32824 (onsite)
Shift: 8‑hour shift Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m. EST
Overtime (including weekends) as needed based on business requirements
Key Responsibilities
Prepare prescriptions using the automated pharmacy system.
Check completeness and accuracy of new and refill labels and orders.
Verify drug packaging, labeling, and Braille/Talking vial orders.
Interact with healthcare team members.
Ensure compliance with all legal pharmacy requirements.
Research medication issues as needed.
Perform additional duties assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy.
Pharmacist license in Florida.
Ability to participate in federal prescription programs.
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to collaborate in a team.
Excellent communication skills.
Computer proficiency.
Full‑time onsite availability at the specified location.
Preferred Qualifications
Three or more years in a high‑volume community or mail‑order pharmacy setting.
Experience in a high‑volume mail‑order and/or retail pharmacy.
Physical Requirements
Ability to handle pharmaceutical products throughout shift.
Dexterity to twist and grasp items continuously.
Reach above waist and shoulders frequently.
Varying bending, twisting, and stooping motions.
Stand for entire shift and lift up to 30 lbs as needed.
Responsible for processing and verifying Braille and Talking labels.
