Lab Technician

Schedule Sunday through Thursday, 3rd shift 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Overview This role is for a Lab Technician who will work the 3rd shift from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Sunday through Thursday. The technician will perform various wet chemistry tests on raw materials, in-process, and finished products; conduct sustainability tests and routine benchtop testing, including titration, viscosity, pH, HPLC, density, microbial testing, and GC. Sample collection will be performed from the production floor, and the technician will communicate across departments. The role requires working both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Perform wet chemistry tests on raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
Conduct sustainability tests.
Perform routine benchtop testing, including titration, viscosity, pH, HPLC, density, microbial testing, and GC.
Collect samples from the production floor for testing.
Communicate effectively between departments as necessary.
Work both independently and as part of a team.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in wet chemistry and titration.
Experience with quality control and analytical chemistry.
Understanding of basic chemistry testing.
Basic computer skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Science (Chemistry, Biology, etc.).
Knowledge of GMP and laboratory practices.
Knowledge in microbiology and chemical analysis.
Work Environment The majority of the work will be conducted in the lab, with occasional sample collection from the production floor. The facility spans approximately 10 minutes to traverse, and a bike may be used for quicker access. Opportunities for advancement within the lab or transfer to other facilities are available due to expansion.
Pay & Benefits Pay: $20.50 – $21.53 per hour.
