Join CommonSpirit Health as a Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist in St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center's Cardiac Cath Lab. You will work on the 2nd floor of the Heart Lung Tower, operating a hybrid lab that provides diagnostic and interventional imaging, pacemakers, AICDs and electrophysiology procedures, including TAVR, Mitral Clip and LAAO.
Job Summary & Responsibilities You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures to assist physicians in treating cardiovascular disease. Daily responsibilities include:
Operating all ancillary equipment: IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser and angiojet.
Scrubbing for diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring proper sterile technique and safety.
Calibrating and maintaining radiology equipment, troubleshooting mechanical issues to prevent downtime.
Ensuring accurate patient positioning and image capture for timely diagnosis.
Adhering to radiation safety practices and providing positive impact on patients and staff.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years experience as a Radiology Technologist with hands‑on interventional scrub.
Completion of an approved JRCERT Radiologic Technologist Program.
Current CRT license; Arizona state license (MRTBE) preferred.
ACLS and BLS certifications (ACLS preferred).
