Speech Language Pathologist Assistant – SLPA (Home Health)
At MedCare Pediatric we provide compassionate, patient‑centered home health therapy to patients in their own homes. Our Home Health SLPA team delivers individualized care in a supportive environment using evidence‑based practices.
Responsibilities
Deliver individualized speech, language, feeding, and swallowing therapy to pediatric patients.
Monitor progress, modify treatment plans, and document sessions accurately.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
Assist in performing assessments as directed by a supervising Speech‑Language Pathologist.
Use evidence‑based practices and maintain professional standards.
Provide education and support to patients and families during visits.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Speech‑Language Pathology Assistant program.
Licensed as an SLPA in Texas (or to obtain license by the start date).
Minimum of 1 year experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
Experience in pediatrics preferred; bilingual ability is a plus.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
Commitment to ongoing professional development.
