Role & Responsibilities
The Pastry Sous Chef reports directly to the Executive Chef.
Oversees the production of baked goods and pastries.
Schedules staff and ensures food quality.
Supervises, trains, and develops staff in production of baked goods and pastries.
Responsible for employee selection, training, development, and performance counseling.
Manages production of wedding cakes for the newly renovated event space.
Qualifications
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
Refined verbal and written communication skills.
Specialized training or education in pastry.
Valid AZ Food Handlers License.
Open availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
