The Department of Radiology at the ICAHN School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, affiliated with New York City H + H/Queens, is seeking a full‑time Interventional Radiologist to provide coverage at Queens Hospital Center (QHC) in Jamaica, New York. We are looking for an energetic, highly motivated, and talented candidate to join our team.
Responsibilities
Provide coverage in Interventional Radiology (50%) and Diagnostic Radiology (50%) at QHC.
Perform a wide variety of interventional services, including venous access, non‑vascular procedures/biopsies, visceral and pulmonary interventions.
Hospital Resources
Approximate 130,000 studies per year.
Technological assets: 2 state‑of‑the‑art 128‑slice CT scanners, a PET/CT scanner, a 1.5 Tesla MRI, ultrasound suite, diagnostic X‑ray/fluoroscopy suites, and nuclear medicine.
Interventional suite equipped with a state‑of‑the‑art GE machine.
Support staff: 3 nurses, 1 technologist, and a full‑time physician assistant.
Qualifications
Board certified or eligible in Radiology/Interventional Radiology.
Completed a fellowship in Interventional Radiology.
Licensed to practice in the State of New York.
Faculty appointment commensurate with years of service and accomplishment.
