McLaren Health Care In accordance with established professional and departmental standards and procedures, performs computerized axial tomography procedures on adult patients under the guidance of a radiologist. Responsibilities
Technical knowledge of various diagnostic imaging procedures. Demonstrates proficiency in the utilization of all aspects of the department’s radiology information system. Accurately interprets and follows physician’s scanning instructions and prescription. Uses independent judgment and necessary skills in order to obtain high quality CT images. Educates patient on the entire process that the patient will undergo for CT procedure. Successful completion from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program with ARRT Certification. Certification in CT is highly preferred. Certification in CT through the ARRT is mandatory within one year from date of hire. Minimum 2 years as experienced CT Technologist, preferably with Philips experience. 3D Imaging experience highly preferred. Current Certification in Basic Life Support. Venipuncture and Contrast Administration Validation within one month of hire date. Ability to work as a contributing member of a highly functioning, cooperative and efficient team. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently. Additional Information
