About the Role If watching a child take their first confident step or master a new skill brings you joy, this is the team for you. We're looking for a pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our supportive outpatient clinic, where mentorship and collaboration are part of the everyday culture. You'll treat children with developmental, congenital, or acquired conditions under PT supervision, working alongside speech‑language pathologists, occupational therapists, and ABA professionals.
What You'll Do
Implement individualized treatment plans developed by supervising physical therapists
Deliver hands‑on therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
Guide families in safe, practical home and school carryover strategies
Document patient progress with objective measures and maintain timely EMR records
Assist with equipment recommendations, positioning strategies, and orthotic follow‑through
Collaborate with PTs and the multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care
What You Need
Active Maryland Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
Strong communication skills with children and caregivers—clear, warm, and compassionate
Reliable documentation practices and consistent follow‑through
Pediatric experience preferred; motivated new graduates with genuine interest are encouraged to apply
