HCA Florida Bayonet Hospital is seeking a Hospice and Palliative Care and Geriatric Program Director to oversee our two fellowship programs. The Program Director is responsible for leadership, organization, operation, and general administration of the program. The Program Director will have the responsibility, authority, and accountability for the operations of the program, in compliance with applicable ACGME and American Board of Medical Specialties regulations. The role is part of the overall Graduate Medical Education leadership within the HCA Healthcare West Florida Division and will collaborate with other Program Directors, GME Directors, Hospital Leadership, and a variety of stakeholders to assure the highest quality of education and the program.
Qualified Candidates
Certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties in both Hospice and Palliative Care and Geriatrics and possess a Florida medical license.
At least three years of clinical experience in an academic/teaching environment, with demonstrated involvement in medical education leadership and active research/scholarship over the past five years.
Experience as Program Director, APD, or Core Faculty with leadership involvement is strongly preferred.
