is seeking an experienced
Licensed Veterinary Technician Supervisor
for our busy
Surgery/Anesthesia Department . This is a working supervisor role with administrative time to develop the service and team. We are a
hybrid
animal hospital and proud to be one of the premier providers of primary, specialty, and emergency care in the heart of the Finger Lakes region in Upstate New York. We are passionate about the training, growth, and development
of all our associates. With multiple specialty departments available, you will have the opportunity to learn from the best! Our 18-doctor hospital serves our clients 24/7/365. We offer our supervisors monthly training on
leadership ,
human resources ,
empathy ,
burnout , and
compassion fatigue . We also work as a collaborative unit, providing you with the connectivity of 10 additional specialty hospital supervisor teams to grow, learn, and share information with. Veterinary Technician Supervisor Responsibilities: Full Technician Skill Utilization Experience in Anesthesia and Surgery preferred Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services Coaching associates based on need to aid in their success Facilitate communication of ideas, policies, standards, and performance Provide feedback related to associate performance and collaborate with leadership to develop performance improvement plans Support associates in their career via VTNE guidance, licensure guidance, and scheduling Maintain skill efficiency and knowledge Potential Schedule:
Day Time, with on-call availability Compensation:
