An exceptional opportunity is available for a licensed Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K‑12 students in an educational setting in Greensboro, NC. This contract position spans the current school year and is ideal for an SLP with a passion for fostering communication skills in children and adolescents within a school environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) focused on speech and language goals.
Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language challenges.
Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant regulations and policies.
Qualifications
Masters degree in Speech‑Language Pathology.
Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech‑Language Pathology.
Certification or licensure to practice as a school‑based SLP.
Experience working with school‑aged children (K‑12) in speech‑language therapy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage students and collaborate with educational teams.
Familiarity with current best practices in speech‑language pathology within schools.
Location: Greensboro, North Carolina. Position based in a K‑12 educational setting.
