Responsibilities
Efficient interpretation of clinical information from clinical team meetings and radiology needs of patients.
Perform thorough and accurate imaging techniques for patient positioning according to the order.
Maintain hyper-sensitivity in monitoring radiation exposure time and activity.
Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself.
Possess mechanical aptitude and confidence in troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to prevent failures.

Qualifications Must be a Registered Radiologic Technologist, certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, or eligible within 1 year of hire. Must have a valid license to practice in the State of Arkansas. Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program - new graduates are welcome to apply. CPR certification is required. Overview As our Radiology Tech at CHI St Vincent Hot Springs, you will help capture diagnostic images from patients to assist Radiologists in accurate diagnosis and/or ruling out conditions. You may perform a variety of imaging examinations such as x-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs. Working directly with people, you will play a significant role in the patient experience. Success in this role requires understanding the importance of diagnostic imaging, general imaging workflow, patient positioning techniques, and capturing precise results for timely diagnosis.
