At Rochester Dental Clinic we provide high‑quality dental care in a friendly, patient‑focused environment. Our experienced team has served Rochester, MN for over 30 years, delivering excellent care with the latest techniques.
Our team works together to provide a full range of services, including Perio Protect, same‑day crowns, and Healthy Start, using advanced techniques and continuing education to ensure patients achieve healthy, confident smiles.
Dental Assistants are integral members of our team and help foster a clinically‑led culture. From acting as the dentist’s right hand to connecting with patients and ensuring the best patient experience, they are a key contributor to the success of our practice.

Work‑Life Balance: Monday and Tuesday 7:15 am‑5:15 pm, Wednesday and Thursday 6:30 am‑4:15 pm

Key Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while helping patients feel comfortable
Set up and break down operatory post‑treatment
Take dental radiographs (x‑rays)
Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
Provide patients with follow‑up instructions after all dental treatment procedures
Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
Compensation $28‑32 per hour
Qualifications
Dental Assistant Certificate where state regulations specify
X‑ray certification where state regulations specify

Physical Requirements This is a clinical working environment where potential exposure to hazardous waste and blood‑borne pathogens is possible. Requires prolonged periods of standing, sitting, leaning, and bending up to 8 hours a day. Will be required to carry, transport, and use tools and equipment. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
