Itinerant School-Based Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team, supporting students' communication and language development within educational settings. This is an itinerant position serving elementary schools with a caseload estimated at 60-65 students. Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify students' communication disorders and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide evidence-based interventions to improve articulation, language, fluency, and overall communication skills. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school-based team members to create and implement strategies that support classroom participation and social activities. Monitor and document students\' progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Educate and guide parents, teachers, and support staff on strategies to enhance students\' communication skills and carryover into the classroom. Maintain accurate records, including session notes, progress reports, and billing documentation. Stay current with research, best practices, and techniques in speech-language pathology. Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and school-based professional development opportunities. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and ethical standards governing school-based speech-language pathology services. Qualifications

Master\'s degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program. Florida licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred. Experience in pediatric or school-based SLP settings is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with students, parents, educators, and staff. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload. Commitment to culturally competent, student-centered care. Benefits
