This is a full-time on-site Dental Assistant role located in Scottsdale, AZ, working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with limited Monday and Friday service hours. The Dental Assistant will support dentists by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, assisting during procedures, taking radiographs, maintaining patient records, and educating patients on oral hygiene. The role also involves implementing infection control protocols and ensuring smooth clinical operations. Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments Assist dentists chairside during treatments Take accurate radiographs (X-rays) Maintain accurate patient records Educate patients on oral hygiene practices Implement infection control protocols Support smooth clinical operations Qualifications
Experience in dental care, dentistry, and oral care Proficiency in sterilization techniques and adherence to infection control standards Competence in dental assisting procedures, including chairside assistance and patient care Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment Certification in dental radiology, Dental Assisting (CDA) or equivalent preferred CPR/BLS certification is a plus (re-certification may be provided) Familiarity with dental practice management software (e.g., Eaglesoft) is an advantage Seniority level
