As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Psychology Researcher to drive the research efforts that will ensure our platform is both effective and grounded in sound psychological science.
Position Overview:
The Psychology Researcher will be responsible for designing, conducting, and analyzing research studies that inform the development and refinement of our AI therapist platform. You will collaborate closely with clinical psychologists, data scientists, and AI/ML engineers to ensure that our platform’s interventions and recommendations are evidence-based and meet the highest standards of psychological care. This role requires a strong background in psychological research, data analysis, and a passion for advancing mental health through innovative technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Research Design & Execution:
Design and conduct rigorous research studies to evaluate the effectiveness of the AI therapist platform, including experimental designs, longitudinal studies, and user behavior analysis. Data Analysis:
Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to generate insights into user behavior, therapeutic outcomes, and the overall impact of the platform on mental health. Collaboration with AI/ML Teams:
Work closely with AI/ML engineers and data scientists to provide research-based insights that guide the development of AI models and algorithms. Literature Review:
Conduct comprehensive literature reviews to stay updated on the latest research in psychology, mental health, and AI, and apply these findings to the development of the platform. Validation of Interventions:
Validate the psychological interventions and therapeutic content used in the platform, ensuring they are evidence-based and appropriate for diverse user populations. Ethical Research Practices:
Ensure that all research activities are conducted in accordance with ethical standards, including obtaining informed consent and protecting user privacy and confidentiality. Publication & Dissemination:
Prepare research findings for publication in peer-reviewed journals and present them at conferences to contribute to the broader field of digital mental health. User Feedback Analysis:
Analyze user feedback and behavioral data to identify areas for improvement and optimization within the platform. Continuous Improvement:
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the platform by providing data-driven recommendations for new features, interventions, and user engagement strategies. Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate research findings to internal and external stakeholders, including product managers, clinical teams, and external collaborators. Qualifications: Experience:
3-5 years of experience in psychological research, with a strong focus on clinical psychology, mental health interventions, or digital health. Experience in AI or technology-based research is a plus. Educational Background:
A Master’s or Ph.D. in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Behavioral Science, or a related field from an accredited institution. Additional training in research methods, statistics, or data analysis is advantageous. Research Skills:
Strong background in research design, data analysis, and interpretation, with proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, Python) and qualitative analysis tools. Ethical Standards:
Deep understanding of research ethics, including experience with IRB protocols, informed consent, and participant confidentiality. Analytical Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights. Communication Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present research findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Collaboration:
