Passion for redefining behavioral health for children and their families Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to children and/or adolescents is desired Outstanding communication skills and ability to collaborate with patients, provider partners, and colleagues Open to professional and clinical feedback and enjoy working in a collaborative clinical environment Appreciate the value of operating in a cooperative team Ability to show initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness How you’ll make an impact
Provide evidence-based psychotherapy services by meeting with patients regularly, delivering counseling, individual treatment, and adjusting plans as needed Evaluate new clients through biopsychosocial/diagnostic assessments Establish positive, trusting rapport with patients Support after-school availability to align with a child’s school schedule Collaborate with specialty providers (e.g., CRNPs, EF Coaches, Speech Therapists) to develop an Integrated Treatment Plan Meet minimum clinical time expectations per week after onboarding Conduct ongoing assessments of progress and maintain thorough records Involve and advise family members or outside specialists when appropriate The basics you’ll need
Flexible to work a minimum of 15 hours per week, with after-school hours defined as after 4pm ET on weekdays; weekend availability also acceptable Active New Jersey licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) This hybrid role
can work on-site Mon/Wed/Fri or Tue/Thu/Sat (remaining days can be remote). Why Blackbird is unique
