NCH Location: 11190 Health Park Blvd, Naples, FL, 34110 Work Type: Full Time Work Schedule: 12 Hour Night Department: 26032 - 3W Medical-Surgical About Our Department: 3 West Cardiac Tele/Post-Angio is a 19-bed unit (18 private, 1 semi-private) at our North Naples campus. Out of these, 6 beds are for post-angio (post cardiac catheterization patients). The unit treats a diverse patient population with general medical, surgical, and cardiac conditions. Job Summary: The Registered Nurse plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care independently, using standards of care, policies, and procedures. Provides direct patient care, takes on teaching and leadership roles, and participates in shared decision-making, committee, and quality improvement activities with minimal supervision. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and implement care plans with strategies to meet expected outcomes. Coordinate care delivery and employ patient teaching to promote health and safety. Evaluate patient progress and practice ethically. Maintain current knowledge and integrate evidence-based research into practice. Support quality nursing practice and shared decision-making. Communicate effectively and demonstrate leadership. Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Use resources responsibly to ensure safe, effective, and cost-efficient nursing care. Practice in an environmentally safe manner and participate in shared decision-making models. Education, Experience, and Qualifications: Licensed as an RN or APRN in Florida. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association. New graduate RNs will be enrolled in the RN Residency Program. Intermediate computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Windows.
