Location: Lansing, MI 48912 (Michigan healthcare jobs) Estimated Weekly Salary: $1840–$1890 Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care, Magnet/Teaching/Level 1 Trauma Hospital Assignment Length: 9 weeks (Start: 11/11/2025 – End: 1/13/2026) Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 – 07:30) Total Hours: 36 hours per week Patient Ratios: 1:4–6 Scrub Color: Hunter Green Parking: Free garage parking with badge access Holiday Coverage: Must be available for 2 of 3 major holidays (including day before and after) Med/Surg Tele RN Qualifications
Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license by start date (pending license accepted if active by start) Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required (2 years preferred) Prior travel nursing experience required Telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation experience required EPIC electronic medical record charting experience required BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA preferred) Ability to float to all adult acute care units, including stepdown Willingness to work 3 weekends per 4-week schedule Proof of high school education required Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities
Deliver direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations in Med/Surg Telemetry units Float to various adult acute care and stepdown units as needed Monitor and manage telemetry patients, including dysrhythmia interpretation and management Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, PT, RT, Pharmacy, etc.) Utilize EPIC for accurate charting and documentation Administer medications, manage central and peripheral lines, and perform wound care Care for patients with diverse diagnoses: cardiac, orthopedic, trauma, stroke, oncology, surgical, and behavioral health Participate in rapid response and code situations as required Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and quality standards Apply now to join our dedicated healthcare team and take the next step in your travel RN career.
