Our office is looking for Dental Hygienist from
September 2025-June 2026 . We are open to
part time or full time (2-4 days per week), and days are flexible! This position has the possibity of employement extended beyond the coverage dates. Excellent hygienist wanted to join our low stress, highly positive, growing, local dental team. We are a well-established, one doctor family practice, in a newly remodeled office with state of the art equipment including digital radiographs with Pearl/AI, intraoral camera, itero scanner, a CBCT, laser, and Eaglesoft software. You will have an outstanding hygiene partner with our wonderful hygienist. We take great pride in providing top notch care to our life-long and appreciative patients. We are looking for an experienced and motivated team player to offer our patients the highest level of care and education. You must be able to provide only 5 star excellent care for our patients. One hour regular hygiene appointments . We all work very well as a team and have a great doctor. Located in Laurel! The right candidate will have the following attributes: Excellent communication skills A Positive work ethic Detail Oriented A Great Attitude A Motivated, Self-Starter Proactive A Dedicated Worker and Team Player Some Duties include but are not limited to: Welcome and greet patients Conduct initial oral screenings and oral cancer screenings Identify conditions such as periodontal diseases and gingivitis Performing the appropriate oral hygiene procedure for each patient Educating patients on oral hygiene Sterilize dental instruments Follow infection control standards Maintain documentation and charts on each patient Reviewing a patient’s dental history Recommending care to improve a patient’s oral health Teaching patients about proper teeth cleaning techniques Performing preventive dental care (Prophylaxis and SRP) Applying fluoride/nano hydroxyapatite/SDF treatments Taking x-rays and reviewing them for signs of dental diseases with Pearl Prepare treatment plans and discuss the doctor’s recommendations Required Skills/Abilities Degree from an accredited dental hygiene school MT Licensure Required – Dental Hygiene Licensure Preferred – Local Anesthetic Licensure Maintain licensure requirements Working knowledge of office equipment such as computer terminals, telephones and copiers Hourly Compensation Based on experience. Our office hours are 8am-5pm with an hour lunch. Team members are expected to arrive 30 mins before patients are scheduled.
