Residential Lead Behavioral Health Associate
to support its mission and oversee staff and client care in a residential setting. Position Details
Reports To:
Lead Behavioral Health Associate FLSA Status:
Full Time/40 hours, Non-Exempt Qualifications
One year of education in Human Services or equivalent experience; Alaska State Counselor Technician certificate preferred. Three years in substance abuse, homelessness, or related fields. One year clerical and data entry experience, proficient in Microsoft Office, databases, and EHR systems. Key Responsibilities
Train, coach, and monitor Behavioral Health Associates. Support clinical staff, monitor client well-being, enforce house rules, and document in EHR. Assist with staff scheduling, client activities, and data entry. Conduct client intakes, orientation, and recovery skills groups. Support crisis intervention and medication procedures. Transport clients, facilitate recovery groups, and ensure confidentiality. Skills and Abilities
Experience in client care and trauma-informed care. Knowledge of cross-cultural issues, peer support, and advocacy. Valid Alaska driver’s license, organized, self-motivated, and communicative. Additional Requirements
Ability to work flexible shifts in a 24/7 residential environment. Physical ability to perform duties, including lifting up to 25 pounds. Completion of required training and background checks. Work Environment
Residential treatment setting with moderate noise levels. The location and shifts may vary to meet program needs. Other Details
Full-time, mid-senior level, in the healthcare and nonprofit sectors.
