The Clinical Research Associate Coordinator will provide support to the Clinical Research Senior Coordinator in managing the day-to-day operations of the clinical study and will oversee work performed by student employees. The Clinical Research Associate Coordinator will independently create systems for and perform data audits, consenting of study participants, and tracking of study end-points and may be required to manage time-limited projects under the direction of the Principal Investigators or Clinical Research Senior Coordinator. Other duties include assisting with student training; organizing study records; documenting survey and data form completion; making telephone calls or sending emails to study participants; visiting the clinical sites to distribute and collect study surveys, collect unit data, and address participant questions; and attending study team meetings. Performs duties of a responsible, sensitive, and confidential nature. Able to work independently within established protocols.This is a term position with an expected duration of 2 years.**Minimum Education required, degree level and focus area**:Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Health Sciences or medical field or equivalent combination of education and experience.**Minimum Years of Experience required**:0 years relevant experience required, 2 years of relevant experience preferred.**Desired Qualifications**:Health care knowledge or experience preferred. Strong communication skills and work ethic are desired. Ability to work without intense supervision.
This position requires reliable transportation to local hospitals for data collection.
