Overview
The School of Nursing at St. Catherine University invites applications for adjunct faculty positions. Nursituing medical education in a multicultural and social justice‑oriented environment, our bachelor’s program integrates holistic nursing theory and modalities and is endorsed by the American Holistic Nurses Credentialing Corporation. We offer nursing degrees at every level, a broad array of clinical and didactic courses, and seek excellent nurse educators with diverse learning format experience.
Applicants will contribute to lab, clinical, and didactic/theory components of course instruction. Positions are available in evening, weekend, and weekday formats, with most requiring in‑person instruction. Join us to give back to the nursing profession while improving health outcomes.

Responsibilities
Foster a culture of inclusive excellence through authentic relationships with students as an educator and mentor.
Monitor and assess student‑learning outcomes and provide timely and frequent feedback on academic performance.
Collaborate with a small group of faculty to deliver high‑quality instruction.
Deliver content in online, in‑person, and/or hybrid formats.
Additional Responsibilities (Optional)
Supervise students at clinicals.
Provide 2–3 on‑campus teaching sessions in lab and simulation.
Teach at either the undergraduate and/or graduate degree level to adult students.
Salary & Benefits Salary: $5,150 per course load. Note that there are limits to the number of courses adjunct lecturers may teach in one year. Service as an adjunct does not count toward promotion and tenure. The salary listed reflects a good‑faith estimate based on market data and internal equity; actual compensation will be determined by qualifications, experience, and other factors. St. Catherine reserves the right to modify or adjust compensation as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Licensed and unencumbered registered nurse in the State of Minnesota.
Two years of direct or indirect practice experience in a specialized area.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in nursing.
Graduate degree in nursing or a related area required to teach in graduate programs.
Preferred Qualifications
Academic preparation and teaching experience in nursing education.
Teaching experience in online and in‑person formats.
Experience with electronic health records and online meeting systems.
