Seeking an Occupational Therapist to cover therapy services in a Vero Beach, FL assisted‑living community. We seek passionate therapists who deliver top‑notch care and results for our geriatric clientele. We believe that a proactive, preventative approach enables patients to thrive and achieve successful aging in place.
Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients in an assisted living community. Communicate with families, physicians and other health‑care professionals. Maintain thorough daily documentation of services in the EMR.
Qualifications Graduate of an accredited university with a Doctoral, Masters, or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy. New graduate applicants welcome; experienced therapists also encouraged. Actively licensed as a Florida occupational therapist.
About PRN Therapists PRN therapists are part of an on‑call pool working on a per‑diem basis. Provides flexibility to choose when to work, accept or decline assignments based on availability. Work in assisted‑living, residential home or other rehabilitation settings. Higher rate of pay but no benefits such as paid time off or health insurance. No long‑term contracts – assignments vary in length. Possibility to cover weekend or holiday shifts with premium pay. Opportunities to maintain and sharpen clinical skills through varied cases. Networking with colleagues, physicians and patients.
