Children’s Mercy is proud to expand services through the Illuminate Initiative. We are thrilled to open our Partial Hospitalization Program and are seeking a compassionate, master’s-level clinician to join our founding team. The Child and Family Mental Health Provider will provide evidence-based individual, group, and caregiver-focused therapy to children and adolescents participating in the PHP. You’ll work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team that includes clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, nurses, behavioral health technicians, and behavioral health care coordinators to deliver comprehensive, person-centered care. Location: Adele Hall Campus – Partial Hospitalization Program | Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Children's Mercy Department of Social Work, Child and Family Mental Health Services provides programing, which supports families through evidence-based clinical services. Our mental health services are provided for a broad range of patients and families, including children in mental health crisis, parents struggling with child's behavioral problems, children and families who have been impacted by trauma, and children at risk for abuse and neglect. Responsibilities: Child and Family Therapy Service Provision and Documentation: The Child and Family Mental Health Provider will provide evidence based mental health treatments to patients and families within the clinical area they are assigned. Case Management and Collaboration: The Child and Family Mental Health Provider will maintain ongoing communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure strong partnerships. Professional Development: This Child and Family Mental Health Provider will demonstrate active involvement and leadership within the team, department, and hospital by regular attendance at meetings and educational opportunities, serving as a consultant for the team. Qualifications: Master's Degree required upon hire Licensed Master's Social Worker KS or Licensed Master's Social Worker MO required upon hire Candidates licensed with a master level social work license, must be engaged in clinical supervision.
