Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility, has been providing quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. Our main campus is located in Denison, Texas, approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth area and just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. In addition, we have facilities throughout the Texoma region. A staff speech-language pathologist provides prevention, evaluation, diagnoses, and intervention for speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders to patients across a life span refined by medical staff. Additionally, provides clinical supervision for students and clinical fellows and supervision for support staff for the provision of care. Qualifications
Master\'s degree in speech pathology or equivalent, or graduate of an accredited speech-language pathology program. 1-3 years of hospital experience is highly preferred Current Texas State License in Speech-Language Pathology and holds CCC from the American Speech, Hearing, and Language Association. BLS Healthcare Provider per RQI guidelines must be completed during new hire orientation prior to working in a clinical setting. Must be able to commute between facilities in a timely manner. Strong knowledge of advanced therapy skills and competencies. Strong written, verbal and interpersonal relationship skills. Basic computer skills. EEO Statement
