Licensed Mental Health Therapist - Private Group Practice Join Minnesota Center for Psychology (MCP) as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist. MCP is a group private practice clinic in St. Paul dedicated to providing high‑quality care for children, adolescents, and adults. Established in 2009 by clinicians, MCP offers flexibility and independence for licensed clinicians to create or continue their own practice while being part of a professional community and receiving administrative support.

Practice Hours & Locations MCP provides part‑time (minimum 15 client contact hours per week) and full‑time openings. Telehealth, in‑office, and hybrid options are available, with positions for licensed independent contractors (1099).

Part‑time or full‑time work hours are flexible, including evenings and weekends.

Doctors who work in the office enjoy convenient location, private offices in a historic building, free parking, and access to light rail and bus lines.

Services & Specialty Areas Clinicians may choose to offer any of the following services:

• Individual psychotherapy

• Group psychotherapy

• Supervision

• Psychological testing

Specialty services encouraged include:

• EXRP (Exposure‑Based Re‑Processing)

• Prolonged Exposure

• EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

• DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy)

• Assessments

Clinicians can join MCP’s DBT team, which is certified by MN DHS and open to seasoned DBT clinicians as well as those wanting to learn DBT.

Guidance with credentialing

Electronic medical record system

HIPAA‑compliant Zoom platform for telehealth services

Reception staff to schedule clients and check‑in in‑person clients during regular business hours

Participation in consultation groups with other clinicians

Offices for individual or group services

Access to a community work room

Break room/kitchen use

Licensure & Qualifications Must be licensed in the state of MN or be a member of PSYPACT.

Licensed Psychologist (Ph.D. LP, Psy.D. LP, MA LP)

Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
