Phlebotomist II Part-Time
Location:
Arlington, VA
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (Rotational Weekends)

Pay Range:
$17.94+ per hour (annual performance bonus may apply)

Responsibilities
Collect specimens (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams) according to established procedures.
Administer oral solutions as trained.
Research test/client information and confirm & verify all orders using lab technology systems and approved tools.
Accurately enter data and navigate computer systems.
Obtain identification, enter billing information, and collect payments per corporate policies.
Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport.
Perform non‑patient facing duties: inventory, stock supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, utilizing email.
Read, understand and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.
Assist with compiling and submitting statistics and data when required.
Maintain phlebotomy logs, temperature logs, and other records in a timely manner.
Complete online and in‑person training courses promptly.
Qualifications
Three years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Keyboard/data entry experience.
Flexible and available for staffing needs (including weekends, holidays, on‑call, overtime).
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, clean driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Medical training preferred (medical assistant or paramedic).
Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.
Effective written & verbal communication in English.
